"Sparaplast Fournier" box, circa 1920

An antique cylindrical pharmaceutical box, made of lithographed tin, intended for packaging "Sparaplast Fournier," a medicated adhesive bandage distributed by Fournier & Cie laboratories in Dijon. The lid features highly legible red and cream typography, indicating the dosage "2 c/m" and the signature of pharmacist J. Jary. The body retains its original grid pattern, and the base remains unmarked. This small container is characteristic of French pharmacies from the very beginning of the 20th century, before the industrial standardization of medical devices.
