An extremely rare first edition published in Lyon by Daniel Gayet in 1667, signed by the spagyric physician Adrian Sicler. A major esoteric work of the 17th century, dedicated to Madame de Savoie, blending palmistry, astrology, and Hermetic symbolism. The text is addressed "to ladies of all ranks," illustrated with typographical figures and the famous woodcut depicting the zodiacal hand. A fascinating example of French Paracelsian and Kabbalistic thought under Louis XIV, with royal approval and a King's privilege. Contemporary full brown calf binding, spine with raised bands, original patina. Complete with text and table of contents. Copy without the final folding plate.
