A rare antique green metal pharmaceutical box, adorned with a polychrome printed label reading "Aconite Tablets – Sodium Borate & Cocaine – DP Registered Trademark." This type of medicinal preparation, typical of the late 19th century, was intended to relieve throat irritations and respiratory ailments. At that time, cocaine, aconite, and sodium borate were commonly used in pharmaceutical formulas for their anesthetic and antiseptic properties. A fine example of Belle Époque pharmaceutical imagery, both scientific and decorative.
