A set of vitreous paint tubes (enamel, porcelain, or ceramic) from A. Lacroix & Cie , a Parisian manufacturer founded in 1855 and renowned for its art supplies. The original box, e A sturdy cardboard box, printed in black on white, bears the inscription "Vitrifiable Colors – Grand Prizes, Diplomas of Honor, Gold Medals." It contains 11 original tin-plated metal tubes : Ultramarine Blue, Yellow Ochre, Light Violet, Van Dyck Brown, etc. Attractive studio patina, with traces of pigment and partially stained labels.
