Antique brass calibration plate or gauge, numbered from 1 to 41, used by watchmakers to measure or select the calibers of mechanical components (cylinders, axles, jewels, screws, or pivots). Each hole, finely machined and punched, corresponds to a precise diameter. The surface has a beautiful amber patina, and the signs of use authenticate it as a precision workshop tool from the turn of the century.
