Rare counter advertising display made for Parapluie-Revel of Lyon. Intended to be placed on a counter or in a display case thanks to its rear easel, it uses the famous visual created by Leonetto Cappiello in 1922, depicting three silhouettes protected by their umbrellas against a yellow background. The composition is combined with an elegant design imitating burr wood and particularly decorative cut-out lettering. This type of ephemeral advertising material has rarely survived, making it a sought-after testimony to early 20th-century French advertising.
