Antique earthenware archer’s mug, decorated with sponge-applied blue bands framing white reserves, with the number 13 in black on the front and repeated in blue under the base. Its cylindrical body, generous handle, and the nuances of its decor give it the endearing character of folk ceramics. It evokes the festivities and gatherings of archery societies, rooted in a tradition of guilds and competitions dating back to the Middle Ages. Its patinated glaze and signs of use bear witness to its festive past and make it a beautiful collector's piece to display on a shelf or in a cabinet.
