Antique archer's tankard in Opaque fine earthenware from Sarreguemines, adorned with the number 13 inside a blue shield punctuated with small hearts and diamonds. Its cylindrical silhouette rests on a slightly overhanging base, highlighted by a blue line, while the handle features a delicate decoration of leaves and dots. Under the base, the crowned coat-of-arms mark authenticates this piece from the famous Lorraine manufacture. It joins the world of numbered tankards and the convivial tables of yesteryear. Its warm patina, with beige and honey hues, highlights the network of crazing in the enamel and gives it a unique presence. An attractive piece for a collection of antique earthenware or a country sideboard.
