Old enameled metal heart - approx 25cm

An old heart-shaped enameled sheet metal funeral plaque, dated 1921. It is distinguished by its beautiful contrasting patina: a wide brownish-black border frames an ivory background on which very faded inscriptions appear transparently. The mentions "Ici repose" (Here lies) and "Regrets," as well as a flame motif at the bottom, remain perceptible. Its size of approximately 25 cm and this faded appearance give it a strong decorative presence, ideal in a cabinet of curiosities or a composition of antique objects. Three holes allow it to be fixed.
