Enameled metal funerary heart - approx 25.5cm

Old heart-shaped enameled sheet metal funeral plaque, bearing the name Jean and the dates "11.8.1900" and "28.1.1973". The inscription "Here rests", composed of decorative letters, surmounts an inscription with large black characters and italic numbers. A fine border emphasizes the outline of the heart on the patinated white background. Its generous format and easily readable composition give it a beautiful graphic presence for a collection of memory objects or a cabinet of curiosities. Two lateral holes allow for its attachment.
