An antique board of fourteen wax seals, offering a palette of gray-green, red, deep blue, olive green, violet, and mauve, complemented by a large impression with silvery highlights. Several coats of arms are framed by animals and surmounted by crowns, while the mauve seal in the bottom row features two conjoined shields in a finely ornamented composition. The repetition of certain designs in different colors gives this set a particular interest. Mounted on small papers and accompanied by handwritten captions, the impressions make for a beautiful collection to frame in order to highlight their nuances and reliefs.
