Antique board of fifteen red and burgundy wax seals, remarkable for the variety of its heraldic compositions. Crowned shields, helmets, animals supporting the coats of arms, and scroll ornaments are distributed among round, oval, and rectangular impressions. The orange-red seal placed in the center features a particularly detailed design, while the one in the bottom left row of the center shows a shield framed by two animals beneath a crown. The papers bearing the impressions sometimes retain fragments of writing or postmarks, complemented by the collector’s handwritten captions. A beautiful set to frame to highlight the delicacy of the reliefs and the nuances of the wax.
