Divination game "Questions and Answers" - Circa 1900

0,00 € Déjà adopté

A small divination or parlor game typical of the Belle Époque , presented in a cardboard box decorated in purple and gold. It consists of cards printed in two colors, one for the questions ("requests"), the other for the answers. Participants drew one card of each type to receive an answer, often tinged with humor or wisdom, to their question. A fine example of a psychological or social game from the turn of the century, charming in its simplicity and typographical aesthetic.
