A rare antique advertising jar in enameld ceramic , produced for the "Maison Centrale d'Alimentation" (Central Food Company) of G. Tonnellier, located at 6 rue du Lycée in Troyes, on the corner of rue du Bois, opposite the covered market. The establishment's facade is depicted in detail, with a horse-drawn carriage and passersby. The inscription "Usine à vapeur" (Steam Factory) testifies to an industrial shift in food processing. The maker's mark on the reverse reads: "Frion Paris, 6 rue de Bourgogne." This type of jar, likely intended for bulk food products, has become highly prized for kitchen decoration or advertising collections.
