0,00 € Déjà adopté

An old professional ENT specialist's plaque advertising consultations with Doctor Marloy for diseases of the eyes, larynx, throat, nose, and ears. Made on a white enameled plaque with hand-painted black lettering and red shading, this plaque was intended to be affixed at the entrance to the doctor's office. It also mentions free consultations for the indigent on Tuesdays, a testament to the medical and social practices of the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The partially erased signature of the engraver can be seen at the bottom, indicating professional manufacture of the typographic plate. Some areas of the text appear to have been previously erased (probably an address or hours), revealing irregularities and a patina consistent with long outdoor use.
