A fascinating manuscript calligraphed in black and red ink, reproducing in its entirety The Sacred Magic that God gave to Moses, Aaron, David, Solomon, and other Holy Patriarchs and Prophets , attributed to Abraham the Magus. This handwritten transcription, translated from Hebrew and probably dating from the early 20th century, is based on the manuscript held at the Bibliothèque de l'Arsenal and follows the structure of the original treatise (1458): magical alphabets, invocations, names of spirits, rituals of purification, and communication with angels. Beautiful, even handwriting on lined paper, bound in red half-cloth with multicolored marbled paper.
✦ Provenance: France, according to the Arsenal manuscript
✦ Estimated period: circa 1900
✦ Dimensions: 22 × 17.5 cm
✦ Material: Laid paper notebook, red half-cloth binding
✦ Contents: Complete handwritten copy of Abraham the Mage's grimoire ( Sacred Magic – Divine Science ), approximately 100 handwritten pages
