Old clear glass pharmaceutical bottle from Laboratoires de l’Organotechnie FITO, with its original paper label for Mammelline (mammary gland powder). Beautiful Art Nouveau style label mentioning the registered trademark FITO and the director A. Badreau, Doctor of Pharmacy, located at 34 rue Trevet in Aubervilliers (Seine), near Paris. This preparation belongs to organotherapy, a medical practice developed at the end of the 19th century around the therapeutic use of glandular extracts of animal origin.
