An antique amber glass pharmaceutical bottle with a highly distinctive truncated conical shape , flared at the base and narrowed at the neck, typical of active and toxic preparations from the late 19th and early 20th centuries. This deliberately unstable and unusual morphology allowed for immediate identification by touch and sight, preventing any confusion with ordinary bottles. It still contains its Strophanthus extract solution , a powerful cardiotonic substance, and bears its original label from Laboratoires Dausse , 4 rue Aubriot in Paris, with the dosage printed according to the medical practices of the time. The bottle is sealed with a solid glass stopper and retains its original red wax seal , along with an oblique label reading "TOXIC," reinforcing its regulated status. An exceptional object, at once scientific, historical, and visually striking.
