A rare, large, antique votive heart made of engraved brass, with a screw-on cap in the shape of a flame. This ex-voto, precisely dated May 20, 1886, commemorates a first communion. The flask consists of a domed, heart-shaped body and a screw-on cap adorned with stylized flames. Unusually large, much bigger than typical ex-votos, this is an object of intimate devotion with strong symbolic significance, possibly having once contained a treasure.
