An elegant Art Nouveau print from the second volume of the Album de la Décoration, published by A. Calavas in Paris and illustrated by Carniel . It depicts two stylized female portraits within floral and winged frames, emblematic of the 1900s style: silky hair, blooming flowers, arabesques, and flowing contours. These idealized faces, inspired by nature and feminine sensuality, embody the muse of the era, straddling the line between Symbolist painting and decorative poster art.
Originally designed as a model for painters, poster artists and decorators , this print disseminated the new canons of feminine beauty and the chromatic harmonies of Art Nouveau.
