A beautiful English box of gilt metal pen nibs produced in Birmingham by Gaffré , a manufacturer active at the turn of the 20th century. Model No. 198 Gilt – Lancaster Pen , marked First Class , with Art Nouveau design in gold, red, and beige. The interior contains about ten original, well-preserved nibs, finely engraved with the inscription "Gaffré Lancaster Pen – Birmingham England" .
