A lottery or counter roulette wheel with a rotating platform, typical of games of chance from the 1930s and 40s. The polychrome red and black wooden wheel, punctuated with nails serving as stops, pivots on a central axle adorned with a gilt knob. A leather flap fixed to a wooden post allows the rotation to be stopped, in the style of early fairground or bistro roulette wheels. The blue-background playing surface decorated with gold motifs and its patinated wooden frame complete the ensemble, exuding authentic folk charm.
