A circular puzzle illustrated with a space-themed scene showing a rocket launching from Earth towards a ringed planet under a starry sky, surmounted by a stylized moon. This iconography belongs to the popular imagination of space exploration, which was widespread in toys and illustrations of the 1950s and 60s. The inscription "V. Paris Déposé" indicates a small Parisian manufacturer of miniature dexterity games. The game involves moving two small, movable metal discs to position them in the scenes by slightly tilting the case. The back is made of stamped aluminum and decorated with a radiant Eiffel Tower, a common motif on souvenir games made in Paris in the mid-20th century.

✦ Origin: Paris, France
✦ Period: Circa 1950/1960
✦ Dimensions: approx. 7.5 cm
✦ Condition: Used. The top glass is broken with a cross-shaped crack but remains held in the metal frame. The illustration is still legible with slight signs of wear. The embossed aluminum back with Eiffel Tower design shows some scratches from use.

A small illustrated skill game on the theme of space and space exploration, typical of popular Parisian productions of the mid-20th century.
