A remarkable antique ex-voto in repoussé and openwork brass and copper , depicting a flaming Sacred Heart surmounted by a gilded royal crown with a cross, adorned in the center with the monogram "PGR" ("Pour Grâce Reçue," meaning "For Grace Received") in applied Baroque lettering. The whole is encircled by floral motifs and framed by two winged angels' heads, with a third cherub at the bottom. The reverse shows traces of former fastening nails. A popular devotional object of Baroque inspiration, probably French or Italian, intended for votive offering or altar decoration.
