Small, round lid in blue and cream lithographed tin, typical of small stationery boxes from the late 19th or very early 20th century. Inscribed in ornamental typography: "12 pinholes plus," probably for office or display pins. The base is decorated with discreet geometric patterns. A rare surviving example of these small, period metal containers, which are often lost or oxidized.
