The decoration, of exceptional graphic richness, blends pharaonic figures, stylized Egyptian scenes, and oriental motifs, framed by red and gold floral friezes. Inscriptions in three languages (English, French, and Arabic) attest to the international reach of this Port Said manufacturer. The "Specials" typography on the spine suggests a premium edition. With its elegance, vibrant colors, and great rarity, this tin is a remarkable example of early 20th-century commercial Orientalism .
