A round, lithographed tin box, emblematic of the famous Mazet confectionery of Montargis, founded in 1903. The lid features a magnificent, lively street scene, with the inscription "La Maison de la Prasline" (The House of Pralines), surrounded by a floral cartouche and a coat of arms. Typical of the refined world of provincial confectionery at the beginning of the 20th century, this box boasted "genuine pralines"—roasted almonds coated in caramelized sugar, a Mazet specialty. Highly decorative, it retains all the gourmet charm of the Belle Époque.
