A collection of three superb Gothic calligraphy plates presenting a Schwabacher alphabet, a Schwabacher script embellished in red, and a large chancery script with highly dynamic lettering. Their graphic richness and red and black contrasts make them a beautiful document for graphic designers, calligraphers, sign painters, or enthusiasts of vintage typography. They originate from the Schriften-Schatz, a collection of alphabet and script models published around 1890 in Ravensburg by Otto Maier, under the direction of Albert Schiller.
