A homogeneous set of Viandox advertising cups with a blue design, typical of those mass-produced and distributed in French cafés and brasseries from the 1950s onwards. Based on the standardized bistro model introduced in the late 1930s, these unstamped examples illustrate the brand's industrialization phase, produced by various French earthenware factories to meet high demand. Their robust form, with thick walls and an open handle, as well as their standardized capacity, attest to intensive use in a professional environment. The blue design, which became the brand's signature, is presented here in a simple and effective version, intended for wide distribution.
