A rare handwritten mathematics notebook kept by a student named "De Frangy" between 1829 and 1830 , during the July Monarchy. The notebook comprises 144 pages meticulously written in brown ink on lined paper, with regular handwriting and a rigorous pedagogical structure. It covers fundamental arithmetic concepts (multiplication, division, fractions, proportions) as well as elements applied to economics, population, and geography (numerical tables), and includes rigorously organized proofs. The blue and green marbled cover is typical of notebooks from the first half of the 19th century. The Gothic script title page, the pen-drawn numerical tables, and the original ink give the notebook a great deal of charm.
