A superb set of 17 miniature pewter pieces, representing a complete church altar: chalices, cruets, candlesticks, censers, a monstrance, and hand-painted motifs (angel, floral bouquet, radiant glory). Made in the 19th century, these religious toys served as miniature altars for children, often given as catechism games or communion gifts. The set is distinguished by the fineness of the moldings and the rare presence of four original, hand-painted polychrome elements.
