Old plate of commercial models titled "Motifs for the use of M[essrs] the lithographers", composed and engraved by Th. Siegfried. Printed in Strasbourg by the lithographers Grieshaber & Weiss and offered for sale by F. Kling, Quai des Pêcheurs n° 17, it brings together a large letterhead for Jacques Roedel, tinsmith and lamp maker in Molsheim, a "Note of Honor" diploma for a girls' boarding school, as well as various frames, cartouches and ornaments intended for typographical works. The composition dedicated to the boarding school, with its ribbon, school trophy and flowering branches, gives it a very particular charm.
