Large Art Nouveau monogram "AM" - Circa 1900

Large Art Nouveau monogram "AM" - Circa 1900

0,00 € Déjà adopté

Elegant decorative Art Nouveau style monogram forming the intertwined letters "A" and "M", entirely openwork with a sinuous vegetal decoration typical of the Belle Époque. The design blends whipped lines, stylized foliage, and ribbed lettering in a style very similar to the ironwork and decorative furniture ornaments of the years 1895-1910. The presence of three fixing points on the reverse indicates that it was likely applied to a piece of furniture, a panel, a door, a chest, or a decorative architectural element. The original browned patina and signs of wear give it a very beautiful decorative presence.
