A seminal work of French palmistry, signed by Adolphe Desbarrolles, considered the father of modern palmistry. This antique book, entitled *Mysteries of the Hand – Complete Revelations (continued and concluded)*, contains over 500 explanatory engravings: anatomical plates, diagrams of the lines of the hand, physiological and graphological studies, signs of illnesses, and children's aptitudes. Bound in half blue cloth with marbled paper, the spine adorned with a red title label. The copy includes the famous engraving of Victor Hugo's left hand, as well as emblematic figures such as "astral signatures." Published in Paris by the author, Boulevard Saint-Michel, around 1880.
