Lithographed tin advertising sign for the famous "Carabaña" mineral water, touted since the 19th century for its laxative and purgative properties. The inscription reads in English: "Carabaña Natural Antiseptic Aperient Water," in raised black and orange lettering on a silver background, with suggestions for use at breakfast. The rectangular format has four mounting holes in the corners. A simple and graphic sign, a testament to the promotion of medicinal waters imported into Europe at the beginning of the 20th century.
