A spectacular anatomical model of the human heart, likely used in a school or university setting in the early 20th century. Made of hand-painted plaster, this model is mounted on an elegant turned and varnished wooden base, numbered "St 20" and annotated by hand. The heart is composed of two parts, one of which is removable, revealing the interior of the cardiac chambers, the valves, and the main vascular structures, each identified by a number. The piece shows attractive signs of use, contributing to its authenticity, with small chips visible particularly on the inner edges.
