A lithographed pharmacy box, with a cream and midnight blue design typical of the interwar period. Marketed by the Coopération Pharmaceutique Française in Melun under the direction of Dr. A. Salmon, it touted the antiseptic and analgesic properties of lozenges containing menthol, borate, and cocaine—supplemented by stovaine, a synthetic anesthetic then very popular. A rare example of the period's pharmacopoeia, both medical and graphic.
