An elegant oval box made of black boiled cardboard, decorated with a gilt coat of arms featuring facing lions and refined typography bearing the inscription "Mlle Ch. Borgne, Dental Surgeon in Brussels." This type of advertising box was used to present or protect dental prostheses, instruments, or dental powders towards the end of the 19th century. The inscription, in a style typical of the 1880s–1900s, evokes the prestige and modernity of dental practices of that era.
