At the crossroads of a game of skill and pulmonary exercise, this illustrated box presents a scene of burlesque clowns in a circus setting. Entitled "The Enchanted Balls ," it contains a curved plastic tube fitted with a spring, as well as three lightweight balls. The player must blow to keep one ball levitating. The text printed on the back of the lid specifies that it is a "fun, educational, and hygienic" game, designed to "strengthen the lungs." A playful and medical curiosity, typical of the Belle Époque.
