A curved, lithographed tin advertising box, produced by the Biscuiterie Moderne Geslot & Voreux in Lille. The turquoise and black decoration, adorned with gold arabesques and red flowers, is typical of the early 20th-century style. This regional manufacturer promoted its Sablé des Flandres, an extra-fine dry biscuit , reminiscent of the great northern French brands (LU, Delespaul-Havez). A rare piece, both elegant and local.
