Antique oblies box – “That’s Pleasure”

Antique oblies box – “That’s Pleasure”

0,00 € Déjà adopté

A rare red and blue countertop Oblies box, adorned with a shield-shaped medallion bearing the motto "Voilà le Plaisir" (Here Comes Pleasure). On top, a patented numbered dial with a rotating hand allowed players to place bets before receiving their wafer or sweet, reminiscent of the small games played at fairs and confectionery shops during the Belle Époque. An original label on the reverse reads "Mond Fournier à Beaune" (Mond Fournier in Beaune). The vibrant patina and the delicate dial make it a true collector's item.
