It retains its original colors, still in place, fixed in vibrant hues (cadmium red, emerald green, yellow, black, titanium white...), applied in dense impasto. The reverse side is also stained with pigments, attesting to active use in the studio. A sensitive and expressive object, a direct witness to artistic practice.
