A small, finely openwork copper-plated metal table frame decorated with rocaille motifs inspired by the Louis XV style: a central shell, scrolling foliage, and small flowers at the corners. The back retains its original iron stand and its slightly bubbly antique glass. Inside is a period photographic print depicting a lady in Second Empire attire. This type of miniature frame, very popular around 1880–1900, adorned bourgeois chests of drawers and secretaries, often paired with albumen prints.
