A rare antique lithographed tin for the famous "Crème Indienne," a leather and fabric care product distributed in France by L. Tourez (Paris 20th arrondissement), but with a design clearly inspired by exotic American imagery. The highly graphic image of a figure wearing a feathered headdress, the Art Deco lettering, and the word "New York" on the side enhance its visual appeal. The back provides detailed instructions, typical of the 1930s and 40s.
