A striking German postcard from around 1910–1920 , immortalizing the façade of a typical Belle Époque restaurant, adorned with imposing painted Schultheiss Bier signs and a window decorated with elegant typography: “Willy Gaede Restaurant,” “2 Kegelbahnen,” “Fernsprech.” A lively street scene where the owner, his employees—and even the house dog—pose proudly in front of the establishment. A superb example of pre-war advertising and craftsmanship.
