This curious puzzle from the Belle Époque is based on a famous mathematical illusion: with the same four pieces from a 64-square chessboard, you can form… 63 or 65 squares depending on their arrangement! A logic puzzle, a visual paradox, and a geometry challenge all in one, "The Incredible" fascinates as much as it amuses. It consists of four gridded cardboard pieces, accompanied by a challenge card and a solution card showing three possible configurations. A rare and playful enigma, drawn from the popular mathematical games of the turn of the century.
