A superb triangular lithographed tin biscuit box, illustrated with a portrait of a woman typical of Flanders, wearing the famous lace bonnet. The remarkably delicate illustration blends gilding and red floral motifs, a symbol of the refinement of northern France during the Belle Époque. Produced by Geslot & Voreux in Lille , this box contained the renowned "Dessert Exquis" shortbread cookies, a testament to Flemish pastry tradition.
