The central design depicts a stylized red fleur-de-lis, framed by broad, blue-gray leafy scrolls and gilt highlights, in a refined decorative style typical of the mid-20th century. Each shade is mounted on a white lacquered metal frame and edged with gold trim at the top and bottom. The pieces are hand-signed "Hand-decorated – Pichat – Elyane brand," attesting to their artisanal craftsmanship. They are believed to have originated from a Dior boutique, but this provenance is not documented.
