Charming pair of animal bookends depicting two foxes standing and holding books between their front paws. The sculptures feature beautiful naturalistic fur work and a very expressive, almost theatrical posture, typical of Art Deco decorative productions from the 1920s-1930s. The set rests on veined green marble bases offering an elegant contrast with the dark patina of the spelter. A decorative pair full of character, ideal for an old library, a curiosity cabinet, or an interior inspired by hunting and nature decor.
