An antique, compartmentalized porcelain palette, composed of six rectangular pans with softened edges, intended for mixing colors or preparations in the workshop. The presence of the stamp "Creil et Montereau - LM & Cie - Opaque Porcelain" allows for a late 19th or very early 20th-century dating. This type of object was used by decorative painters as well as in earthenware or ceramic workshops for color testing. It has a beautiful patina from use with traces of old pigments, which enhance its authenticity.
